Brenda Lee Butts

Brenda Lee Butts, age 64, of Knoxville, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born on December 10, 1957, in Savannah, Georgia at the Air Force hospital. Her father, Robert Lee Butts, was in the Air Force. She was a member of Solway Baptist Church, as well as her mother, Josephine Butts. Brenda, along with her parents and sister, Robert, Josephine and Donna, grew up in Ovid, New York from 1963 until 1978 until they moved to Knoxville, Tennessee with family. She loved puzzles, dogs, cats and enjoyed life. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Josephine Butts; sister-in-law, Patricia Petrie; grandparents, Pauline and Charles Warren and Delma and Walter Butts; cousin, Billy. She is survived by her sister, Donna Stinnett (Ricky); nephews, Calvin Stinnett (Kimberly) and Alex Stinnett; great nephews and nieces, Zaccheus, Jayden, Kristianna, Cavanna, Garrin, Galvin, Gareth, and Kurt; cousins, Ronnie, Edward, Kenny, Bruce, Paul, Diane, Linda, Sharon, Valerie, Dawn and Sandra; several other cousins, relatives and friends. Brenda’s wishes were to have a private family service. Following her services, Brenda will be buried with her mother and father at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
