Brenda Lawless Lansdell

Brenda Lawless Lansdell, age 82, of Powell, TN passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at her home. 

She was a longtime member of Sharon Baptist Church where she was the Director of the Bereavement Committee, active in the WMU and kept the nursery. She worked in the banking industry for many years before retiring. Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an animal lover and she loved to shop. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Michael "Tim" Lawless and her parents, Jess and Evelyn Mingie. 

Brenda is survived by her husband, Hyatt Hoyt Lansdell; uncle and aunt, Jack and Ella Dowling; many special cousins, loved ones and many special friends. Special caregiver and friend, Heather Adams-Reno. 

The family will receive friends from 4:30pm-6:30pm Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 6:30pm. Pastor Mark McCoig and Dr. Jim Robertson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am at Berry Highland South Memorial Park on Friday, April 11, 2025 for a 11:00am interment service.
