Brenda Faye (Hensley) Beckner, age 73, of Knoxville, Tennessee. Born May 27, 1949, went to live with our Heavenly Father on the evening of December 2, 2022. Brenda was a loving a mother and grandmother, she lived with a bright spark in her soul. Brenda dedicated her life to healthcare for the elderly. Brenda’s hobby she most enjoyed was making crochet creations with any spare time she had. Brenda had a feisty yet joyful and comical personality. She always had so much love to give. Brenda is now reunited with her late husband Lowell Graydon Beckner in heaven as they dance along to their favorite tune. Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lowell Graydon Beckner Sr., Clyde Hensley, Mary (Hensley) and Eugene Smith. She is survived by brothers, Butch Hensley and Kent (Martha) Smith; children, Jackie (Allison) Beckner; stepchildren, Lowell G. (Jean) Beckner Jr. and Leah Beckner Crisp; grandchildren, Melanie K. Beckner, Alexis J. Beckner, Lacie P. Beckner, Daniel (Jennifer) Beckner, Heather Tweedle, and Elizabeth (Stephanie) Hayes-Tucker; great grandchildren, Grayson and Harper Beckner and Harrison Tweedle; nieces and nephews, Travis Hensley, Tyler (Kaitlyn) Smith, and Courtney (Daniel) Culpepper. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 2:00 pm committal service, where she will be interred with her husband Lowell Beckner. Full military honors will be presented by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital 2018 W Clinch Ave, Knoxville, TN 37916.
