Brenda Carol Mathes Stump, age 63, of Knoxville passed away on December 14, 2018. She is preceded in death by parents James Mathes and Mary Mathes; granddaughter Christina Hopper; and brother Jimmy Flannigan. She is survived by husband Michael Stump; children Mary Hancock, Melissa Tapp (Bobby), and Larry Hancock (Amy); stepsons Keary Stump and Bill Stump; grandchildren Jeremy King, James Hopper, Tristan Brock, Ricie Potts, Dixie Hancock, Katie Stump, Whitney Stump, Chelsea Stump, Blaine Stump, and Kylie Stump; great-grandchildren Apollo King, Lona Dillman, Jessica Gahret, Alayna Berry, Zayden Nunley, Dallas Stump, Kayton Stump, Leighla Stump, Paisley Simpson, Hayden Gahret-Stump; sisters Donna Breeden and Gwena Dotson; and brother Richard Mathes; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Mynatt funeral Home Halls Chapel with a memorial service to follow, Reverend Marty Koontz officiating.
