Brenda Lou Burgin

Brenda Lou Burgin age 77, of Halls, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. She was a long-time member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Lee Burgin, parents, Joe and Dicie Abner, sisters, Gladys Murphy, Ellen Kitts and Barbara Valentine; and brothers, Bob Abner and Thurman Abner. She is survived by her son, Lynn Burgin, grandchildren: Anthony Burgin and Jeremy Burgin, great-grandchildren: Piper Burgin, Ella Burgin, J.J. Burgin and Vella Burgin; brother, Gene Abner, sister, Juanita Beckham, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, November 4, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Pastor Darrell Seaton. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 10:45 am at Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment.
