Bobby Joe Nicely

Bobby Joe Nicely, age 73, of Corryton, passed away peacefully January 5, 2017. He was retired from Alcoa and was an avid race car fan and driver. At his request, Bobby Joe’s family wanted to give special thanks to Bob Russell and Roger Flenniken for all they had done for him over the years. He was preceded in death by parents Vaugh and Laura Nicely, sister Judy Nicely, brother Jerry Nicely, and best friend Claude Shockley. Survivors include daughter Sandy Albright and husband Greg, grandchildren Dylan Albright (Sydney Lam), Kelsey Albright (Corey Newman), stepson Gary Hyatt and family, sister Jewell Nicely, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Tuesday at Mynatt funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will follow with Rev. Larry Woods officiating.
