He is survived by his children, Kendra Hurst, Katti Hurst, and Steven (Britany Cagle) Houston; grandchildren, Jaylen Hurst, Andrea Matias, Bella Hurst, Elijah Hurst, Jasmine Matias, Maria Matias, and King; Stepchildren Michael Hurst, Amber Knight, Donald Hurst, Anothny Hurst, and Michele Hurst; best friend, Jason Davis; adopted mother, Carlynn Knight; and mother of his children, Cindy Hurst Peck.
