Bobby Eugene Bales

Bobby E. “Bob” Bales, age 76, of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2014 after a lingering illness. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Tom’s Foods for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore & Elva Bales and a daughter Angela Moore Waggoner. He is survived by his wife, Kay Bales; children Glenda & Larry Vaughn, of Gadsen, Alabama, Kenny & Marlo Bales, of Knoxville, and Buster Moore, of Knoxville; 6 grandchildren; a brother Charles Petty of Stone Mountain, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be 7 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with Rev. George Seay officiating. Interment private. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
