Bobbie M. Booth

Bobbie Marian Clemons Booth, age 88, of Sevierville, TN, entered eternity with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Bobbie was a native of Knoxville and lived much of her life in Fountain City. The last 30 years were spent with family in Sevier County near the mountains that she loved. She retired from Dollywood in 2013 after 25 seasons of service. Bobbie became a Christian at an early age & was an unashamed follower of Christ. Her life is a testament to her faith and love for her Heavenly Father. Her next great love was her family, who were blessed to call her mother, “Granny, and “Bobba.” Bobbie was known as “Granny” to all who met her. She was a true friend to all. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Harvey Booth, parents George and Lora Tipton Clemons, siblings Estral “Red” Clemons and Evelyn Jenkins, and a host of other family members with whom she has now been reunited. She is survived by children Larry Booth (Sharon Garrow), of Warren, MI and daughter, Debra Booth Robertson, of Sevierville, grandchildren Robin (Gary) Bailey, David (Sarah) Rains, Rev. Greg (Kristi) Rains, Heather Booth, Allison (Greg) Balay & Patrick (Jennifer) Booth, great-grandchildren Hunter, Skyler, Elijah & Braxton Rains, Tre and Matea Gulley, Shianne, Dakotah and Chayton Booth, Jenna (David) Fish, and Joseph Bailey, great-great-grandchildren Ja’Laya Gulley, Ashton Fish and 1 on the way. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Greg Rains and Rev. Tim Hopkins will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, to travel in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
