Bob Lewis Skeen

Bob L. Skeen age 87 of Knoxville went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, November 25, 2021, after almost 48 years of devoted service to the spreading of the gospel. Retired from Y-12 as a machinist supervisor after 34 years. Preceded in death by his parents; Lewis and Nan Skeen, as well as his firstborn son; Lloyd (Buster) and 2 grandchildren; John and Corbyn. Survived by his loving wife of almost 69 years Wilma, and his sons; Greg, Danny (Sharon), Todd (Kim) and Rod (Janet); daughter-in-law, Tromala; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he adored. He was best known of his godly ministry and the legacy of God's love he shared with his friends and family, and his 20 years of coaching at Inskip/Norwood. We are thankful for the assurance that "absent from the body is present with the Lord" (2nd Corinthians 5:8) and the first words he heard were "well done good and faithful servant". Family and friends may call at their convenience from 12:00 noon Sunday, November 28, 2021 til 5:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 2:45 p.m.Monday, November 29, 2021 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service Dr. Todd Stinnett officiating.
