Blanche Chambers

Blanche (Hutchison) Chambers, age 100, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Knoxville, passed away quietly after a short illness February 8, 2017. Blanche was born September 28, 1916 in Union County, Tennessee, to Albert and Cora (Malone) Hutchinson. She attended Beaverdale Baptist Church in Halls. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Quillie Victor Chambers, dear brothers Burney, Burl, Hubert, Troy, and Willard; sisters Ann Ridenour, Dolphia Weaver, Edith Bookout, Irene Nance, and Ruth Hutchison. She is survived by her son, Steven Albert Chambers-Wilson and son-in-law, Reginald Kent Chambers-Wilson; grandson Victor Steven Quentin (Catherine Connor) Chambers; great-granddaughter Sierra and great-grandson Matthew Fossett, all of Lilburn, GA. Surviving nieces and nephews include Sue Burton, Lynn Nance, Pat Mannor, Larry Hutchison, Denny Hutchison, Jim Hutchison, Bob Hutchison, Wickie Wilhite, Gail Anderson, Danny Hutchison, and Curt Hutchinson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, 4131 East Emory Road, Knoxville, TN, 37938. Family and friends will meet at 1:00pm on Monday, February 13, 2017 to proceed to New Loyston Cemetery, Hickory Valley Road, Andersonville, TN, for graveside service at 2:00pm, Reverend Randy Webb officiating.
