Billy Ray Ridenour

Billy R. Ridenour, age 71, of Knoxville passed away August 31, 2012, at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home. He was a member of Bishopville Baptist Church. He retired from Diamond Hill Plywood and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was proceeded in death by parents R.B. and Ovella Ridenour, sisters Virginia Wilkerson and Rosetta Powell, and brothers Robert Wayne and Baby Boy Ridenour. He is survived by children Tammy Wood, Randy Ridenour, Robin Jones, and Shannon Lewis, 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, siblings Phyllis Summers, Mary Humbard, Glenda Greer, and Lloyd Ridenour, as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association Attn: Donor Services 225 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60601. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Monday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services at 11 am with Pastor Phillip Poe and Rev. Bernie Hutchison officiating.
