Billy Darrahl Stanford

Billy Darrahl Stanford, 66, passed away in his home in Knoxville, TN, on July 16, 2021. Darrahl had a career in broadcasting starting in 1978, working for several local radio and news stations as a technical director and producer until he retired in 2016. He was an avid motorcyclist and Harley-Davidson enthusiast who loved the exhilarating freedom of a ride. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Doris Stanford and sisters, Gayle Phillips, Debra Wyrick, and Susan Cooper. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn McKinney and Brittany Stanford; grandchildren Tucker and Tatum McKinney; brother Bryan Stanford; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Beaverdale Baptist Church in Knoxville on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm followed by a brief service.
