Billie Evon Pique Merritt

Billie Evon Pique Merritt, age 84, of Powell, TN, died Tuesday, September 5, 2023. She was a member of Redemption Harvest Church. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Miles and William Miles; sisters, Beverly Greenlee and Tina Miles and brother, Doug Miles; first husband, Bernard Ray Pique, second husband, Roy Gene Merritt, and son, Michael Pique Sr. She is survived by her children, Bobby Pique (Tammy), Janet Hatmaker (David), Johnny Pique (Anissa Harrell), and Sheila Breeding (Anthony); Special Grandson, Michael Pique Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Vivian Parton; brothers, Rusty Miles and Bill Miles; and brother-in-law, David Pique. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral home, Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow. Reverend Jody Darden officiating. Family and friends will meet by 10:45 AM Monday, September 11, 2023 at Jett Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment service.
