Billie Jean Bedwell

Billie Jean Bedwell, age 85, of Knoxville, went to dwell in the everlasting arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was born to William C. and Eunice Ramey on February 19, 1932 in Bluefield WV. Billie selflessly dedicated her life to raising and loving her family and spreading the love of the Lord to all those around her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend Robert (Hub) Bedwell, her sisters Betty Dowden, Joyce Wells, and Pat Berry, and her nephew Jay Daniels. She leaves behind her devoted children, Jerry Bedwell (Susan), Danny Bedwell, Tony Bedwell (Kristine), Shannon Talley (David), her very special grandson Ben Bedwell, her brother Frank Ramey (Ruby), several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many special friends and family. Receiving of friends is Monday, March 13, 2017 between 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, 2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville, TN. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Pastor Brian Kearns will be officiating.
