Billie Freedom Bailey

Billie Freedom Bailey, age 89 of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Union County, passed away July 16, 2023. He was born June 23, 1934. He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. An antique dealer at Green Acres Flea Market for over forty years. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by parents Dona and Edgebert Bailey, wife Betty Bailey, and son Chucky Vandergriff and sister Mae Tharp. Survived by daughter Linda Nelson, special grandsons Kenneth Nelson Jr., Gregory Nelson and Jason Nelson, great-grandsons Cody Nelson, Chaz, and Toby, nephew Carson Tharp, niece Sue Tharp, first cousin Faye Hickle, special friends Handy and Marlene Kaiser, Elvis Doane and Nancy Oaks, Joe and Sheila Kaiser, and Steve Dalton. Special thanks to Chuck, Dan, Dennis, Brent, and all of his flea market friends.
