Beulah Ogle Branson, age 94 of Corryton, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, peacefully at her home. She was born on October 18,1929 to Artie and William Ogle in Sevier County, TN. On July 29, 1950, she married James H. Branson, Jr and shared 69 years with him until his death in 2019. After retirement from Standard Knitting Mill, she enjoyed attending church services at Graveston Baptist Church where she was a long time member. When she was no longer able to drive, she found great comfort in the visits, phone calls, letters, cards, and other contact from her family and friends. She also enjoyed socializing with the ladies at the Beauty Nook in Corryton during her weekly visits. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters: Pearl Green, Reba Helton and Edna Fugate. She is survived by her daughters: Janice Branson and Sharon Beeler-Weaver (Marvin); grandchildren: Matthew Beeler and Kelsey Mullins (Dustin); great grandchildren: Abby, Blake, and James Mullins; brother, Ralph Ogle (Betty), and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Alley and his nurse Jessica at Summit Medical Center for their years of providing comfort and care for our mom. We, also, wish to thank UT Hospice, especially Victoria, Stephanie, and Erica for the care and comfort they provided to us as well as mom during the difficult time. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024 at Clapps Chapel Cemetery Corryton for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service, Rev. Mark Kitts officiating.
