Bettye R. Horton

Bettye R. Horton, age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, February 14th, 2016. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Robert Shaw Controls where she made many friends over the years. Preceded in death by son Wayne Horton. Survivors include husband Dwayne Horton, daughter Linda Horton and fiancé Shane Parker, grandchildren Celia and Emily Horton, great-grandchildren Amiyah, Jaidin, Cameron, Mekkah, and Davin, god children Jaelynn and Kaighlani Rosario, daughter-in-law Jennifer Horton and son Spencer, as well as many special friends whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 18th, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with Celebration of Life to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Byron Chambers officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, February 19th, 2016 at 1:45 PM at Lakeview Cemetery for interment at 2 PM.
