Betty Winnell Watson

Betty Winnell Watson, age 85, of Halls Crossroads went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2018. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church for over 35 years. Preceded in death by husband, Roy Dukes; daughter, Kristie Newman; parents, Clyde and Pearl Booker; and brother, Hillard Booker. She is survived by husband Buster Watson of 3 ½ wonderful years; children, Pamela Todd (Terry), Cathy Cleveland (Blake) and Jill Sparks; stepdaughter, Sharon Cramer; grandchildren, Ian (Sloane) Cleveland, Eric (Rachel) Todd, Ethan Cleveland, Payton Cleveland, Cara Sparks, Laken Newman, and Averi Sparks; step granddaughter, Crystal Auer; great-grandson, Blake V. Cleveland; brother, Boyd Booker; sisters, June Boatman and Linda White. Special thanks to caregivers and nurses from the 2nd and 4th floors at Parkwest Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, at Salem Baptist Church. Rev. John Holland and Rev. Allen James speaking in honor of Mrs. Watson.
