Betty Taylor Seymour

Betty Taylor Seymour went to be in the presence of the Lord December 12, 2013. Preceeded in death by parents: O.P. and Willie Taylor, sister: Deloris Deaver and brother: O.P. Taylor Jr. She was an active member of Ridgeview Baptist Church for 75 years and played piano there from the age of 12. She taught Sunday School, V.B.S., and was active in choir, missions and youth leadership. She was a loving wife and mother and a wonderful cook. Loved to laugh and fellowship and will be greatly missed by husband of 66 years, Glenn Seymour; children: Janice and Gary Hines, Gerald and Margie Seymour, Tammy Seymour, Jill and Bob Jones. 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held 6pm Saturday at Ridgeview Baptist Church, Rev. Maston Jackson and Rev. David McGill officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm Sunday at New Gray Cemetery for interment at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, friends may choose to contribute to Ridgeview Baptist Church. Family will receive friends 4-6pm Saturday Ridgeview Baptist Church, Mynatt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
