Betty Ruth Livingston

Betty Ruth (Clapp) Livingston age 85 of Halls, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Rocky Dale Primitive Baptist Church. Betty retired from Gray Hodges Corporation after 25 years of service. She had a kind heart, a sweet spirit, and will be missed by all. Preceded in death by father, Ralph Clapp; mother, Wanda (Crumpley) Clapp; sisters, Bobbie Clapp, Myrtle (Clapp) Bryant; brother, J. O. Clapp; and daughter-in-law, Debra (Coffey) Livingston. Survived by daughter, Carmelle (Livingston) Ogle (David); son, Kevin Livingston; brother, Roy (Dorena) Clapp of Chattanooga; sister, Sharon (Clapp) Cantrell (Gordon); granddaughter, Sarah (Livingston) Hindenburg; grandson, Chase Ogle; four great-granddaughters, Lacey, Lilly, Logan and Laney; a great grandson, Eric; nieces and nephews, Sheila (Zary), Alison (Tommy), Michael (Margie), Stacy (Greg), Sherry (Kalvin); and many precious great nieces and great nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow, Preacher Billy Berry officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00pm interment, Preacher Matt Cannon officiating.
