Betty Lou Taylor, age 82, of Powell, went home to be with Jesus on October 1, 2012. She was a member of Dante Church of God where she served as secretary of the Ladies Sunday School Class for many years. She was a devoted woman of faith with much love in her heart for everyone. Former employee of Holston Manufacturing Company. Preceded in death by husband Virgil Taylor, parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Baker, brother, Ronnie Baker, nephews, Terry Darnell and Darrell Baker. Survivors, daughters, Linda Satterfield, Beth Ann Mitchell and husband Wayne, Connie Shipley and husband Dennis, grandchildren, Eric Mitchell and wife Jill, Bradley Phelps, Tammy Bunch, Amy Judd and husband Mike, Kim Phelps, Kellsey Shipley, Nikole Shipley and Jacob Shipley, 9 great grandchildren, brother, Rev. Bill Baker and wife Nancy, sisters, Nancy Foster, Emma Wilkerson and husband Buddy, Effie Potter and husband David and many other loving family members and friends. Service, 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain City, Rev. David Snyder, Rev. Billy Baker and Rev. Robert Holmes officiating. Family and friends will meet, 10:15 a.m., Thursday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and proceed to Cox View Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
