Betty Jean Lynch

Betty Mullins Lynch age 79 of Knoxville, passed away Monday January 7, 2013. Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother, John Pinkney Murrell and Georgia Murrell Johnson; baby son, Danny Mullins; late husband, Roy C. Mullins; sisters Ruby Brown and Dorothy Gheen; and great-grandson Orvis England. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Marlin M. Lynch; daughter, Linda F. McClain; son, Steven W. Mullins; step-daughter, Sharon Blalock; four grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Billy C. Murrell and sister, Shirley Hall. Betty was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Service 8 pm Thursday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Louis Branch will officiate. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment service at 2 pm. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6pm -8pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
