Betty Jean Gaddis

Betty Jean Gaddis age 84 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at home. Employed by Bellsouth Telephone Company as an operator for 38 years. A member of Grace Baptist Church in Karns. Preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl Allen; brother John R. Allen. Survived by her daughter Kelly Riggs (Danny); sisters Peggy Boatman, Mary Jane Gaddis, Shirley J. Atchley; grandchildren Danielle R. Riggs, Jonah M. Riggs (Amanda), Jacob C. Riggs (Brittany), Leah C. Riggs, Micah L. Riggs; great-grandchildren Hannah, Connor, Naomi, Audrey, Hagan, and Mila Riggs. A private graveside service will be held at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Dr. Todd Stinnett officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Samaritan’s Purse PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607.
