Betty Jean Ellis Shultz

Betty Jean Ellis Shultz, age 85, passed away on July 26, 2017. She was a member at Salem Baptist Church. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by husband Charles Preston Shultz Sr.; parents Dewey and Bertha Ellis; and brother Bob Ellis. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Rhonda (Glenn) Davis and Teri (Tim) Dunnavant; son Charles (Lynne) Shultz Jr.; grandchildren Glenn David (April), Andrew (Sarah), Todd (Courtney), Ali, Heather (Matt), Taylor and Bailey (Austin); 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Helen, Lucy and Gladys; brothers Bill, Harold and Jack; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 4:00pm – 6:00pm, Saturday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 6:00pm, with Rev. John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm, Sunday, at Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for interment at 1:00pm. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons Glenn David, Andrew, Todd and Taylor.
