Betty Clark Mynatt Besecker passed away January 13, 2021. Betty was a resident of Knoxville until she moved to Dayton, Ohio where she met her husband of 35 years, Bob. After retiring from General Motors, they settled back in Knoxville until his passing in 2014. She worked for many doctors over the years. Betty was an avid sports fanatic and, in her younger years, played softball for a traveling team. She and Bob were also big fans of bowling and if you could not reach them, check the local bowling alley. Also, she loved her dogs and always had 1, 2, 3, or more if she could. Preceded in death by husband Bob; parents Ross T. and Mary Ethel Clark; sons John Mynatt and Doug Mynatt; sister Virginia Ridenour. Survived by daughter Angie Turner (John); son Jim Mynatt (Sandy); sister Judy Raley (David); grandchildren Dustin (Morgan), Christy, Jake (Nikki), Kacey (Eric), Sonnie, and Sonya; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Tripp, Booker, Alora, Lycan, and Atticus; daughter-in-law Vicky Mynatt; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00am-5:00pm Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet 1:15pm Monday, January 18, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Milan Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service.
