Betty B. Irwin, age 91 of Knoxville, passed away December 4, 2020. She enjoyed many hobbies over her lifetime, including; square-dancing, camping, painting, sewing, ceramics, cross-stitch, games, bowling, church choir tours, roller-skating, boating, and modeling. Betty was very outgoing, competitive, elegant, fashionable, a caregiver, and a loving mother to all. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Orville W. Irwin, parents; Jesse H. and Rosa Lee Brock, and sister Margaret Williams. She leaves behind her daughters; Vickie Roberson (Carl) and Cathy King (James), son Mark Irwin (Lynn), granddaughter Caitlin King, sisters-in-law; Dorothy Jean Pappas, Anna Mae Lawson, and Sandra Kay Teffeteller, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and special friends at Trinity Hills for their love and care. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM for a 2:00 PM graveside service at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
