Bessie Kate Davis

Bessie Kate Davis, age 78 of Knoxville passed away November 2, 2013 at University of Tennessee Hospital. She was a member of Prayer House Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Millard Rogers and mother Lillian Rogers, sons James Albert Glass II and Ray and Jay Albert McDaniel. She is survived by her daughter Jeannie McDaniel, ex-husband Wayne Davis, sons David McDaniel, Charles Glass, Joe Glass, Randy Glass, and Jeff Glass, grandchildren Rhonda, Terrie, David, Joe, Jill, Scott, D.J., Terra, Amanda, Erica, Ashley and Katie, great-grandchildren Jerry III, Nicole, Kelsie, Chelsey, Jake, Roy, Ethan, Joey, Clay, Kileigh, Lily and Parker, great great grandchild Jerry IV, five sisters Jessie, Laverne, Ruth, Eva, Darlene, two brothers Junior and Hollis, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be at 8 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. David Cloud officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and proceed to New Gray Cemetery for interment at 2 PM. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
