Bertha C. Williams Beason

Bertha C. Williams Beason, age 99 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at NHC. She was the oldest member of Oaks Chapel Christian Church. Preceded in death by husband, James (Gee) Beason; parents, Hiram and Mary Jane Williams; children, Mildred McCloud, Bobbie, Billy, and Jack Beason, and Annie Beeler. Survived by daughter, Verdie Henderlight and husband Norton; son, Eddie Joe Beason and wife Charlene; host of many grandchildren; great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Special thanks to all nurses and employees of NHC for their kindness. Family will receive friends 10:00 am – 12 Noon Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow. The family will then proceed to Beason Cemetery for interment. Rev. Dallas Harrell and Rev. Teddy McCloud officiating. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
