Bernie Leon Harmon

Bernie Leon Harmon, age 73 of Maynardville, passed away early Saturday morning on September 10, 2022. He was saved at an early age and went home to be with the Lord. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his father, Bernie Luther Harmon, and mother, Lois Suffridge Harmon. He is survived by loving wife of 56 years, Peggy Maples Harmon; children, Lisa Harmon West (Bobby) and Brian Harmon (Jennifer); grandchildren, Amber West (Bekah), Robby West, and Luke Harmon; siblings, Charles Harmon (Faye), Roy Harmon (Maria), Roger Harmon (Wanda), Ramah Humphrey (Jerry); brothers-in-law, Dennis Maples and Marcum Maples, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Chinta and staff. A special thanks to Rachel Shea and Jessica Haley and other hospice staff for their care and kindness, as well as Ramah and Jerry Humphrey for all the extra help they provided, and the rest of the family for their love and support. The family will have a celebration of life at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, with a 6:00pm service to follow officiating Rev.
