Bernice Evelyn Carlisle

Bernice Evelyn Carlise, age 97 of Oliver Springs, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. She was a loving mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she was very proud of her family. Her family always came first. She was a member of New Mountain View Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by parents, Andrew Granville Green and Nannie Steelman Green; husband, Clayton Carlisle; son, Kenneth Carlisle; sisters, Viola Myers, Ruth Felker, Velma Flynn, Beulah Storie and Bertie Jolley; brothers, Dillard Green, Lewis Green, Verdon Green, Leonard Green and Lester Green; special niece, Joyce Laymon. She is survived by her son, William Carlisle, Sr. (Nina); daughter, Marie Brown (Danny); daughter-in-law, Barbara Carlisle; grandchildren, William Carlisle, Jr. (Marla), James Carlisle, Michael Brown, Matthew Brown (Kristin), Amanda Baker (Eric) and Vickie Danner (Michael); great grandchildren, Clayton Carlisle, Garrett Carlisle, Wyatt Carlisle, Chelsey Carlisle, Zach Carlisle, Destinee Danner, Blake Danner, McKenzie Danner, Brian Danner, Andrew Danner, Hamilton Brown, Mallory Pirtle, Ava Brown, Alie Brown, Eli Brown, Ben Brown, Ethan Craig, Isaac Craig, Aaron Craig and Octavian Baker; several nieces and nephews. Friends and family will meet on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Anderson Memorial Gardens at 12:45pm for an 1:00pm graveside service officiated by Rev. Dean Wright.
