Bernadette Hoy Fitzpatrick

Bernadette Hoy Fitzpatrick, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, December 10th, 2018. Bernadette was born in Manhattan, New York on February 21st, 1934. Bernadette and her husband, Tom raised 6 wonderful children. They were devoted parents who cared about faith, family and tradition. Bernie embraced her Irish heritage. In addition to her parents, Thomas and Bridget Hoy Bernadette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tommy of 60 years; sisters Adeline, Theresa, Patsy and Henrietta; brother Frank; and sweet grandson, Steven. She is survived by her children Tom, Kevin, Terry (Tracy), Danny (Glenda), Mike and Peggy (Eddie); grandchildren Ryan, Corey, Brandon, Sean and Matthew; her brothers Tommy (Ellen) and Paddy (JoAnn) Hoy. May her Irish eyes keep smiling as she is reunited with the love of her life Thomas Fitzpatrick and her wonderful grandson, Steven Corum. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 6:00-8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Mass service will be held Friday, December 14, 2018, at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Lyons View Pike.
