Barbra Jene "BJ" Pinkston

Barbra Jene (BJ) Pinkston was born into a military family and moved around as a kid. She and her family settled in Maryville, TN and she stayed in the area for the rest of her life. She and her husband, Brad, loved to trail ride in their jeep. She loved her jeep groups dearly. Her hugs, smile, and laugh warmed your soul. 

BJ is survived by her husband, Brad Pinkston; her parents, Sam and Phoebe Nelson; her brother Jerry Nelson; her daughters, Tasha (Whitney) Guerra, Marquita Guerra, and Tayla Pinkston; Grandsons, Sebastian and Tobias. 

A service in BJ’s honor will be held January 5th, 2024 from at 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2829 Rennoc Rd., Knoxville, TN 37918. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00pm.
