Barbara White Johnson Alfes

Barbara White Johnson Alfes, age 87, of Fountain City, entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Sacred Ground Hospice House. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and the Martha Sunday School Class. Barbara was a vibrant person who loved the beautiful things in life. She split her time between her homes in Knoxville and Florida. Her children and grandson were the love of her life. She traveled the world abroad for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Kate White; husband, Wiley Johnson; 2nd husband, Richard Alfes; brother, Jack White; daughter, Elizabeth Elkins. Survivors include daughters, Donna Jones (Greg), Gail Corey (Mitch); grandson, Chris Hatfield (Anne); beloved Bichon, Coco; brother, David White (Carolyn); niece, Autumn Druit; nephews, Greg White and David Aaron White; special friends, Sydney Watkins and Bill and Connie Keeler. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Central Baptist Church of Fountain City from 4:00pm until time of funeral service at 6:00pm with Rev. Ron Mouser officiating.
