Barbara U. Huff

Barbara U. Huff, age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was a charter member of Antioch Baptist Church where she played piano for many years. Barbara retired from the University of Tennessee Agricultural Extension Service after 40 years. She was preceded in death by husband Denton D. Huff, father W. Roy Underwood, mother Reba Shelton Underwood, and brother William R. Underwood. Survivors include sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and Jack Ammons, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to all of her friends at Antioch Baptist Church and to her friend Jean Clark, for their love and support through the years, and to the staff at NHC Farragut, who gave her extra special care. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:30 pm with Rev. Andrew Ray officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for interment at 11:00 am. www.mynattfh.com
