Barbara Faye Rogers

Barbara Noe Rogers went to be with her dear Lord and Savior on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the age of 81. Barbara, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, graduate of Central High School, and attendee of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Barbara was an employee of General Shale Brick, but made her career with The Knoxville Ear, Nose, and Throat (Dr. Soss and Dr. Sandberg) for over forty years. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving parents, Milburn E. Noe and Mary Elizabeth Beal Noe. Survived by her only Child Rick Rogers and wife Angie; grandchildren Stephen Rogers, Kristen and Husband Dr. Chase Trotter, Brandon Rogers, and wife Courtney, and Brock Rogers; great grandchildren Danielle and Reagan Rogers, Addison, Emma, Audrey, and Eleanor Trotter, and Rylan Rogers; Aunts Ruth Waycaster, Grace Beal, and Charlotte Pitts, and many more close family and friends that will miss her dearly. Barbara loved card games, Vols Football, Cooking, fashion, and cherished her Wallace Memorial Sunday school class. Most of all Barbara loved her family with all of her heart and she will be greatly missed by each and every one. Family will receive friends at 5 to 7 pm Monday, October 1, 2018 at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Kent Williams and Katherine Fortner officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Tuesday, October 2, 2018 for an 11:00am interment at Edgewood Cemetery. Donations may be made to Thompson Cancer Center.
