Barbara Adelia Dollar

Barbara (Bobbie) Dollar, age 77, passed away peacefully and is now with her Lord, Jesus Christ, December 08, 2021. Bobbie was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls. Bobbie was Powell High School Graduate and a majorette during her time there. A retiree of Brunswick Corporation and a member of Eastern Star (Areme Chapter No 466). Many life-long friends were made during these years. Bobbie’s home was always open to all friends and family for overnight stays. Where you were provided with all the food and drink you could want. She loved playing hostess! She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Dollar, parents Roy and Imogene (Bradley) McElroy and son Marty Laws. Survived by daughter Angela (Laws) Painter (Charles), Jeffrey Dollar (LeaAnne), Scott Dollar (Carol), grandchildren Garrett and Grant Painter, Scott Brant, Madison Burnette, Mabry Moore, Isabella Dollar, brother William McElroy (Monika), as well as many other beloved family and friends. Special thanks to Jeffrey Drinnen, MD., Michelle Brewer, MD, & Luis E Zayas Rodriguez, MD, UT Hospice and the special individuals who helped care for Bobbie during her battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
