Audrey Martha Killion Minton Day

Audrey Killion Minton Day, age 87 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Baptist Health Care Center of Lenoir City. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands, Roscoe Minton and Alex Day, infant son Raymond Roscoe Minton, brothers Hubert, Millard, Joshua, Boyd and Fred Killon, sisters Mertie and Hattie Killon, Fannie Widner, Gracie Rowlett, Lizzie Russell, Elvira Duncan and Sophia West. Survivors include daughter, Juanita Rogers of Alabama, daughters and sons-in-law Louise and Carl E. Duck of Florida, and Elaine and Gary Mount of Knoxville, stepsons Ralph Eugene and Jerry Day, and stepson and stepdaughter-in-law Larry Sr. and Frankie Day, stepdaughter Glenda Freeman, stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law Brenda and Larry Joe Brown, Sr. and Elaine and Ben Edmonson, sister-in-law Pansy Minton of Florida, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the loving staff of Baptist Health Care Center, 700 Williams Ferry Road, Lenoir City, TN 37771 and ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Baptist Health Care Center in her memory. Funeral services will be at 8:00 PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City with Rev. Mark McGill officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM Friday at Fairview Cemetery, Forest Avenue, New Tazewell, TN 37825 for 2 PM interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
