Arthur “Andy” W. Anderson, born April 29, 1930, went home to be with his Lord on April 12, 2014. He was a loving husband and father, who served his country with 24 years of service in the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur C. and Grace Anderson; brother, Reese Anderson. Survived by wife of 59 years, ImoJene Williams Anderson; children, Deborah Solomon (Larry) of Knoxville, Arthur “Skip” W. Anderson, Jr. (Maria) of Smithsburg, MD., Alessia Stowers (David) of Indiana, Katrina Hendrix (Tommy) of Jonesborough, TN., Aaron “Ronnie” Anderson (Barbara) of Jonesboro, IN.; brothers, Ken (Della) of TX., Jennings (Dana) of TX., Bob (Lori) of AZ.; sister-in-law, Anna Maria of IN.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Toby Webber officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15am Wednesday at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier) for 9:30am interment service. Family will receive friends 5-7pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
