Arthur Eugene Marsh

Arthur Eugene Marsh, age 80 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. He was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. Served Airborne in the United States Army for 3 years skydiving, worked as a brakeman for the railroad, was a truck driver, and worked for Clayton Homes. He was a Shriner. Volunteered all over the country with Remote Area Medical, even assisting alongside Stan Brock driving to Mexico. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and scuba diving. Preceded in death by his father, Letcher Ray Marsh; mother, Lizzie Boatman; daughter, Sherry Marsh; infant grandson, Christopher Marsh; brothers, Bobby Hankins and Jerry Hankins; sister, Brenda Hankins; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survived by wife, Linda Marsh; sons, David Marsh, Michael Marsh, and Douglas Marsh; grandchildren, Jonathan Carr, Amber Mikkelsen, Justin Zachary, Austin Marsh, Christian Marsh, Christopher Marsh, and Shane Smith; great grandchildren, Jace, Nolan, Isaiah, Lucas, and Levi; brother, Bill Marsh; several nieces, nephews, and lots of friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City at 11:30 am on Monday, November 7, 2022, and go in procession to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 12:30 pm graveside service with full military honors presented by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
