Arnold William Korte

Arnold W. Korte, age 85, passed away March 12, 2017. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and a veteran of the US Navy. He served as president of East TN Airstream Unit WBCCI for 7 years. Preceded in death by parents, Arnold J. and Jeanette Korte and brother-in-law, Richard Roan. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Donna J. Korte; children, Deborah (David) Yager, Mark (Carol) Korte and Brian (Josephine) Korte; grandchildren, Aaron Yager and Shen, son of Brian and Josephine; brother, Donald (Sandra) Korte; sisters, Carol (Jim) Rosendaul, Barbara Roan, and Martha (Philip) Habegger. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arnold Korte Fund at First Lutheran Church, 1207 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917. Friends may call at convenience Friday from 9AM - 5PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral service will be held Saturday March 18, 2017 at 1:30pm at First Lutheran Church, Pastor Floyd Smithey and Rev. John Schulz officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm Monday at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (Gov. JS Hwy.) for 2PM interment service.
