Archie Lee Russell

Rev. Archie L Russell age 74 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Rev. Russell pastored many Baptist churches over the years. He loved to pick and sing gospel bluegrass. He just loved singing, preaching and his grandkids. Preceded in death by parents Clayton and Ruth Russell, Brothers; Bill, Bob and Jimmy. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years; Wilma Russell. Sons; Bradly Russell and wife Jennifer and Scotty Russell. Grandchildren; Jordan, Makensy, Destiny and Dylan. Brother; Jerry Russell and wife Gloria. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City with an 8:00 p.m. service to follow, Rev. Steve Tharp and Rev. Ken Buckner officiating and music by the Rupert Family. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Ft. Sumter Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers; Dylan, Frankie, Brian, Rick and Kevin Russell, John Rhodes. Honorary Pallbearers; Jordan Russell, Glen Hayes, Bobby Karns, Jody Haynes and Doyle Collins.
