Anna Walker Waggoner Smith

February 13, 1924 — August 4, 2014

Anna W. Smith, age 90, passed away August 4, 2014. She was a lifelong member of Smithwood Baptist Church. Retired from Fulton’s but her most favorite job was being a policewoman at the Smithwood intersection to help the children at the crosswalk. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ollie W. Lemons; father, George Harrison Walker; first husband, Sam Waggoner; sister, Iva Jean Payne. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles V. Smith; daughters, Charlotte W. Livingston and Connie Donahue; grandchildren, Sherry Hoyle, Amy Mize and Toyka Donahue; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Samantha, Jesse, Xandra and Summer. Friends and family will meet at 2:45 pm Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service at 3pm. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel in charge of arrangements.
