Ann Veronica Swanson

Ann Swanson passed to her eternal reward on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at age 76, ending her courageous battle with cancer. She passed quietly in her Knoxville Tennessee home with family members present to mourn our loss, take comfort in her presence with the Lord, and celebrate the memory of her life of loving kindness. Born in Brooklyn NY on June 30, 1941 to Anne and James Farrell, oldest sister to James, Maureen, and John, she married the love of her life Philip on December 28, 1963 and celebrated 49 years of marriage before his passing, raising five children; Rosemary (Kurtis) Smith, Stephanie Swanson, Christopher (Hellen) Swanson, Patrick (Terri) Swanson, Jennifer (Michael) Orr, and cherishing fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church with interment to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.
