Ann Melissa Brown

Ann Melissa Nissen Brown, age 94 of Powell, born in Tunas, MO, passed away December 1, 2021. She was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Ann retired from Palm Beach Company as a supervisor of the sleeve section. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by parents, John & Cora Nissen; son, Ronald Jay Brown; grandson, Roy “Buster” Brown; ex-husband, Roy Brown, Jr.; and several sisters and brothers. Ann is survived by daughters, Joan (Bob) Davis and Donna (Gene) Ellis; son, Roy “Butch” (Gail) Brown III; grandchildren, Robbie Ellis, Tammy Jordan Brown, Lindsay Large, Steve Ellis; and 12 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their gratitude to UT Hospice for the special care given to Ann. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday, December 3, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow at 7:00pm, Rev. Jerry Walton officiating.
