Ann “Mamaw Honey” Owens, age 72 of Knoxville passed away peacefully into her saviors arms while surrounded by her family December 7, 2015. She was a Mom to many and the doors of her home were always open. Known for her warm and vibrant spirit, she loved people and good conversation as much as she loved the beach and the mountains. Preceded in death by the love of her life William “Papaw Bill” Owens; parents James Roscoe and Martha Loy. Survived by her daughters Lorisa Williams, Cynthia Collins and husband Scotty, and Jennifer Hodsden; grandchildren Chad and Kelsey Gibson, Kayla and Tanner Collins; brother Ronnie Loy and wife Susanne; niece Melissa Woolum and nephew Tim Loy and their families; special cousins Sandy and Claudia Loy and families. . Family will receive friends Thursday 6:30-8:30pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 1:15 Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel and proceed to West Emory Presbyterian Church Cemetery for 2pm graveside service.
