Ann M. (Cole) Sherritze went home with Jesus in the early morning hours on Friday December 11, 2020 in Knoxville, TN. She was born November 9, 1936 in Sharps Chapel, TN the daughter of Roy and Floy (Shoffner) Cole. On March 3, 1956 she was married to the love of her life, George Sherritze who has been with Jesus since June 22, 2009. Ann retired in 1990 after 30 years of service from Delco Electronics in Kokomo, IN. She and her husband owned and operated Poor John’s Restaurant in Galveston, IN from 1973-1991. She attended Oak Grove Primitive Church in Sharps Chapel, TN, and was a member of the UAW in Kokomo, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years George; parents, Roy and Floy (Shoffner) Cole; brother, Beecher Cole (Georgia); sisters, Rose Eva Browning, Brenda Joyce Chittum. She is survived by her niece who she helped raise and loved like a daughter Christy (Jeff) Grimm; grandchildren, Levi and Jacey Grimm; brother, Bill Cole (Jo), Bob Cole (Linda); and Many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. Ann had many dear friends whom she loved and cherished; Bobby Baldwin (Stephanie), Roger and Barb Steveson, Wanda Boles, Zettie Booker, Betty Hamilton, and so many more, but too numerous to mention. There will be a call at your convenience for family and friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel in the parlors from 9:00-5:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 with masks appreciated and social distancing. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 1:45PM for a 2:00PM Entombment Service Officiated by Rev. Jerry McBee who baptized George and Ann in the Jordan River on September 23, 1991. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude Hospital.
