Ann C. Duncan Romines, age, 78, a beacon of love and joy, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday May 30, 2024, in Corryton, TN. surrounded by her loving family. Ann’s life was a tapestry of cherished moments and enduring relationships that touched many hearts throughout her years. Ann’s legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted husband of thirty-four years, John Romines Jr., with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering companionship. Ann worked at UT Rec Sports for 27 years. She loved her beautiful smoky mountains, gardening, and just being outdoors. In cooler weather, you could find her at her kitchen table, reading her favorite book, or crossword puzzles. She was a beautiful person inside and out; she was loved by everyone. Ann raised two of her older grandkids as her own like they were her own daughter and son, granddaughter Latasha Ann Mayhall and grandson James Ray Kirby. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace. She was a very giving and loving person, and her smile spread joy and lit up the room. She had no greater joy than her family and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Cleo Duncan, her brothers Arnold, Sammy, Eddie and Junior Duncan; granddaughters, Hayden Maples and Nevaeh Stokely. She is survived by her husband, John Romines Jr.; Sisters, Faye and Ruby Duncan; three daughters / granddaughter, 1 grandson/son, three stepdaughters, April Braden, son-in-law, Shannon Braden, Robin Maples, son-in-law, Chris Maples, Alison Romines; daughter’s Susan Johnson, Donna Smith (son-in-law) Pudgy Grayson, granddaughter / daughter Latasha Mayhall (son-in-law) David Stokely, grandson/son James Ray Kirby (daughter-in-law) Shanna Kirby; grandkids, James Kirby, Latasha Mayhall, Crystal Smith, Michael Johnson, Tabatha Holder and husband Billy Holder, Shannon Braden and wife, Destinee), Aaron Braden and wife Lexi Braden, McKinzie Braden, Braden Maples, Wesley Hilliard.; great-grandkids, Ray, Jacob, Julie, & Joseph Kirby, Jaiden, Kaiden, Kaitlyn Stokely, Chyann & Gabryel Mayhall, Love, Kayson, Royal, Chris, Dallas Wolfenbarger, Maurice King, Michael Anthony, Laila, Isaiah Johnson, Little Billy, Steven Holder; great-great grandkids; Kyas, Harper, Kodi Kirby. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, June 3, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a celebration of Ann’s life to be held at 7:00 PM.
