Andy Tennis Dotson, Jr.

Andy Dotson age 63, of Knoxville Tennessee entered into God’s Kingdom on July 6, 2023. Andy was a beloved and devoted husband and loved his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind family and friends who will deeply miss him. We take comfort in knowing he was saved and in a better place. At the age of 17 Andy enlisted in the Navy. He took great pride in serving his country for 10 years. Andy was a big kid at heart! He loved wheeling and dealing in hot wheels at the flea market. He was a big Nascar fan. If you had the privilege of knowing Andy, you knew he was a caring, loving, and funny man who loved to joke around and have a good time. He attended when he could, Redemption Harvest Church, he was a member for many years at 1560 Moose Lodge. Andy was preceded in death by his father, Andy Tennis Dotson, Sr.; mother, Mary Ann Dotson, brother, Darren Dotson. He is survived by his wife, Tina L. Dotson,; children, Heather Taunton, Katrina Harris, Amber Ellison and Kenneth Ellison; grandchildren, Hannah Taunton, Jackson Taunton, Charles Harris, Jacob Harris, Elizabeth Harris, Milhayla Dykes (Squirt); brother, Scott Dotson Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at East Tennessee State Veterans' Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Highway) for a 2:00 PM graveside service. Full Military Honors presented by East Tennessee State Veterans' Honor Guard.
