Andrew "Sonny" G. Corum, Jr.

Andrew “Sonny” G. Corum, Jr. age 77, of Corryton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2025. He was a member of Shannondale Baptist Church, and currently attending Clear Springs Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran, going on to retire from the United States Postal Service. Being the active man he was, he became the proud owner of Mountain View Inn Campground in Dandridge. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, playing in the Seniors Golf Tournament at Three Ridges Golf Course, and fishing in the R&R Fishing Tournament. More than anything he loved his family and spending time with them. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew, Sr. and Helen Corum, and brother, Michael Corum. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy Wilson Corum, children: Kenneth (Cathy) Corum of Rutledge, Timothy (Toni) Corum of Gibbs, and Douglas Corum of Gibbs; grandchildren: Taylor Beth Corum, Trey Corum, Andrew “A.J.” Corum, Christian Corum and Dylan Corum; and sister, Sue Torres of Marietta, GA.

 The family will receive friends Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service. Family and friends will meet Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:00 am at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel and travel in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment service. Services will be officiated by Rev. Don James, Rev. Ray Woodie and Rev. Justin Pratt. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clear Springs Baptist Church in Sonny’s honor.
